FAQs

Do you take insurance?

I don’t take insurance directly, which means I’m an out-of-network provider. This allows me to focus fully on providing personalized, high-quality care without the restrictions that often come with insurance plans—like session limits or required diagnoses. That said, I’m happy to provide a “superbill” at the end of each month, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Before we get started, it might be helpful to check with your provider and ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • What’s my deductible, and how much have I met so far?

  • What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions or total amount covered per year?

What are your fees?

My fees range from $225 to $300, depending on session length and services provided.

Do you have a sliding scale?

I have a few reduced-fee spots for those experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a concern, feel free to ask about availability.

How do I pay?

You’ll set up a secure profile through my client portal, where you can enter your payment info. I accept credit cards, cash, checks, and Zelle. You can choose to have your card charged automatically after each session or pay manually.

How often will we meet?

Most people find that meeting weekly provides the best support and progress, but we can talk about what feels right for you. You’ll have a dedicated time slot each week to ensure consistency and momentum in our work together.

When are you available?

I see clients Monday through Friday, with sessions in the morning and early afternoon. At this time, I don’t have any late afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions available.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

Both. I offer in-person sessions in my Huntington office as well as virtual therapy for those who prefer the flexibility of meeting remotely.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens - I get that. If you need to cancel, I ask that you give me at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged for the session. Please keep in mind that most insurance companies won’t reimburse for missed sessions.
