You’ve Been Caring for Everyone Else—

What About You?

As a woman, you’ve likely spent much of your life giving so much of yourself to others—your family, friends, and the many people who depend on you. But in the process, you may have lost touch with your own needs. Your well-being, your body, and even your desires and aspirations may have taken a backseat.

Are you struggling with:

  • Overwhelming changes brought on by pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause—struggling to balance your new identity as a mother or grappling with emotional and hormonal shifts?

  • Body image distress—feeling frustrated or disconnected from your body, no matter how much you try to “fix” it?

  • The emotional toll of yo-yo dieting or disordered eating—feeling stuck in a constant cycle of restriction, guilt, and overeating that leaves you exhausted and defeated?

  • The challenge of sexual fulfillment—whether it’s low desire, painful sex, difficulty with intimacy, or feeling disconnected from your own sexuality?

  • The pressure to be “perfect”— be it as a mom, a wife, an employee, friend or otherwise?

  • The weight of societal expectations—comparing yourself to other women and feeling like you don’t measure up?

You don’t have to face these struggles alone nor resign yourself to bearing their burdens forever. Whether you’re dealing with body image, eating concerns, perinatal mental health struggles, or difficulties in your relationships,
I can help you heal and move forward.

Hi, I’m Nina

This work isn’t just a job for me—therapy is something I deeply believe in. As a Columbia University trained therapist with a persistent interest in psychological and therapeutic research,  I’m constantly expanding my skills to offer the best support possible. My clients describe me as warm, real, and easy to talk to, and that’s exactly how I want therapy to feel. Whether we meet virtually or in my office in Huntington Village, I want our sessions to be a space where you can fully exhale.

I believe that therapy can be as unique as you are. Together, we'll find the approach that works best for you, drawing from a range of evidence-based methods. CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, Feminist Relational Psychotherapy, and Sensate Focus Therapy are just some of the tools I am trained to use to support you in your journey. But what truly matters (maybe even more than these acronyms) is that you feel seen, understood, and supported. At the heart of my work is a commitment to building a genuine, trusting relationship—because that’s where real healing begins.

I specialize in helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies, offering a compassionate approach to those struggling with body image, disordered eating, and self-worth. I also support women through the emotional highs and lows of pregnancy, motherhood, and perimenopause—because these transitions can be messy, exhausting, and full of unexpected challenges.

And when it comes to sexual health, I create a safe, shame-free space to talk about intimacy, desire, and body confidence. Whether you're feeling disconnected, struggling with low libido, or navigating changes in your relationship, I’ll help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels comfortable, empowering, and fulfilling.

How I Work

Just for a moment, imagine what it would feel like to truly accept yourself.

What if you didn’t have to constantly measure yourself against impossible standards? What if you could just be—without the pressure to do more, look different, or hold everything together perfectly?

This might seem unrealistic to you, but this state of being is within anyone’s reach - anyone who is willing to reach for it. If you’re ready, I can help you get there.

You deserve to feel at home in your body, grounded in your relationships, and supported through the messy, beautiful, complicated parts of life—whether that’s navigating motherhood, perinatal mental health, body image struggles, or big identity shifts.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to help you sort through the noise and make space for yourself.
